How Do We Know Jesus Is God? | John 8:48-59

Did Jesus actually claim to be God, and how can we know? Discover the biblical evidence for the deity of Jesus and why it changes everything about how we live.

Did Jesus really claim to be God? And how can we know that Christianity's claim about Jesus is true? In John 8:48-59, Jesus makes one of the clearest declarations of His divine identity when He says, "Before Abraham was, I AM."

In this message, we follow the biblical evidence to understand who Jesus is and why His identity matters. From His role as Creator and giver of life to His authority to forgive sins, receive worship, and bear the name of God, Scripture reveals that Jesus is not merely a good teacher or a created being. He is God.

But knowing that Jesus is God is about more than winning an argument. Because Jesus is God, He perfectly reveals the Father, He alone can save us, and our entire lives belong to Him.

Discover what Jesus claimed, why the evidence matters, and what it means to follow Him with complete surrender.
