Dead Ends Are Not Dead to God
Luke 1:37; Romans 8:28
Abraham and Sarah were told they were too old. The walls of Jericho looked immovable. Lazarus had been in the tomb four days. In every case, what looked like a permanent ending was simply the setting for a divine beginning. God is not limited by what limits you. He is not discouraged by what discourages you. The situation you have written off as finished may be the very ground where God is preparing to demonstrate his power. Four days did not stop Jesus, and whatever you are facing today does not stop him either. He is still able.
Have you decided something is over before you have finished trusting God with it?
Write down one situation you have mentally given up on. Pray specifically over it this week and ask God to renew your faith that he is still able to move.
