The Gospel We All Need

What is the Gospel, why do we all need it, and how does it change our lives? In Romans 1, we discover the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to save, forgive, and transform lives.

What if the answer to our broken world isn't found in better behavior, greater effort, or changing culture, but in the life-changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

In this message from our This Is The Bible series, we begin our journey through the book of Romans with Chapter 1, where the Apostle Paul introduces the Good News that has the power to change everything.

The Gospel isn't simply a set of religious rules or a list of things we should and shouldn't do. It's the incredible news of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. It's a message of grace, forgiveness, salvation, and transformation that every single one of us desperately needs.

As we walk through Romans 1, we discover that the Gospel is about Jesus, it's meant to be shared, and it has the power to save everyone who believes. But Paul also confronts a difficult reality. When humanity rejects God's truth and authority, sin takes hold, worship becomes distorted, and the consequences reach into every area of life.

In a culture that increasingly celebrates what Scripture calls sin, how should Christians respond? How do we stand firmly on biblical truth while continuing to love people and point them toward Jesus?

Romans 1 reminds us that we cannot compromise God's Word to gain the approval of the world. At the same time, we must never forget that the Gospel is a message of hope for every sinner, including ourselves.

Here's the good news: Sin may be powerful, but the Gospel is more powerful.

No matter what you've done, how far you've wandered, or how long you've been running from God, you're not beyond the reach of His grace. The same Gospel that saves us has the power to change us.

You never outgrow your need for the Gospel.
